About Project
Greater Cairo Metro line 3 from Heliopolis to hike step.
The line will extend from the northwest to the northeast of Great Cairo.
The total length will be approximately 30.6 km.
The Phase 4B, will start from El-Nozha ends at Adly Mansour Staion.
and it has 6 elevated stations.
Beta works on Adly Mansour Station.
The project consists of 133 girders and box section.
Girders each consists of two tendons.
Box Section consists of 2 webs, total length 144 m.
Supply of Post Tension materials:
– Strands.
– Anchors.
Supply of Post Tension equipments:
– Multi Stressing Jacks.
– Grouting Machines.
In conclusion, BETA’s scope of work in Cairo Metro Line 3 includes :
- – The supply of the post-tensioning system .
– Supervision of the post tensioning works. -
Importance of line 3:
– Meet the enormous demands for transportation along line 3.
– Reduction of the amount of traffic of the other means of transport at a level equal to 2 M trip / day.
– Linking between the east and west of Cairo, since that line 3 is the first traversal line, while lines 1 & 2 are linking between the north and south of Cairo.
– Line 1 & 2 exchange in Attaba, Gamal Abd El Naser stations and University stations in Cairo.
