What is Stressing Anchorage?

A Post Tensioning Anchorages is a mechanical device,
consisting of all components required
to transfer the post-tensioning force from the prestressing steel to the structure.

in addition, Its including all accessories for grouting.

Furthermore, Stressing anchorage is the most common form of post-tensioning system.

It is widely used in concrete structure and soil / rock retaining walls.

post tensioning anchorages consist of wedge, anchor head, bearing plate and spiral reinforcement.

Flat anchor:

The Flat Anchorage of maximum 5 strands in one plane to deviate into one oval duct.

Is mainly designed to use in thin members.
As a result, They use it in transverse Post-Tensioning
of the top slab of box-girder bridges
and prestressed flat slabs.

The system connects strands,
which run through steel or flat corrugated galvanized steel ducts made in our factory.

The strands are stressed individually using a mono strand jack.

To ensure corrosion protection and to give adequate bond strength.
The tendons are filled with suitable cement grout mix after complete stressing of the strands.

Multi Strand Round anchor:

Round system used mainly in bridges’ beams.

Systems are normally adopted for bonded tendons, each tendon consist of a bundle of strands.

So, the number of strands per tendon can be from 4 strands up to 42 strands of different diameters.

The strands in the tendons are contained in one round duct.

Which is made of corrugated galvanized metal manufactured locally in our factories.

Strands are individually gripped in one anchor head unit and transmit their pre-stressing force by means of an anchor plate casting unit.

Also the strands in tendon are stressed simultaneously by means of a multi strand stressing jack.
